CSA International, Inc., a marine environmental consulting firm, has announced the Phase II completion of its new facilities in Stuart, Florida, servicing the international marine environmental markets, including energy, government, industrial, and various other commercial customers.
The new facilities include a marine biology lab, technical services shop, and a dedicated marine library. The CSA International, Inc. library houses a wide-ranging and unique collection of more than 40,000 marine related documents, including books, journals, government publications, and technical reports in both print and electronic formats. Staffed by a marine librarian with more than 30 years of experience, the library supports the research needs of CSA International, Inc. personnel and is an active participant in national and international library resource sharing networks.
“We’re pleased to have this phase of our expansion completed,” stated Kevin Peterson, CEO of CSA International, Inc. “In particular, the CSA marine library is a tremendous resource both to our own science staff as well as other external organizations that draw on the collection. The library is an accumulation of unique documents and information collected over the company’s 38 years in the marine environmental consulting business.”
